"Please... don't. I can handle plenty of rough, believe me." He ended that with a teasing wink, right before lifting that bottle. But then it was being taken away from him all too soon, and he let out a noise of complaint, close to a whine, through his mouthful of chocolate topping. But at least he swallowed before trying to talk, thankfully - or that would have been quite a disgraceful and unflattering mess.

"Oh, so it's fine when you do it, but not me?" He pointed out, but rather than complain further, he chose to focus on her last words instead, smile sharpening as a hand trailed up the back of her leg, and he looked down all too intently. "Well, I do have quite a few ideas in mind right now."

Arousal flared quickly, Riley biting her lip as she looked down at him. "Keep them in mind until after we eat. I'm not burning our food because I'm too distracted by licking chocolate off your--. Off you." That whine was distracting, but so was the idea of Fili covered in chocolate.

She hmphed, moving back to the cupboard to put it up on the high shelf. "But... if you liked it, I'll make sure to pick up more next time I go shopping. Maybe extra whipped cream as well?" She moved to quickly turn the chicken over, then gave him her full attention again.

"Of course," he murmured, feeling his insides warmer as his mind promptly finished her thought-- or what it was before she cut it short. "Ought to keep something sweet for dessert, after all."

Dropping a quick and light kiss to her back, he dropped his hand, pulling away before he got aroused again himself. Not likely, true. But still. "Whipped cream. That's the white thing, yes? Is it nice too?"

"Oh, honey." She laughed, shaking her head. Going over to the fridge, she debated between the can or the tub. Yes, she had both. Don't judge her. Pulling out the can, she gave it a shake. "If it's for something like a big dinner with pumpkin pie or something, I like to make it from scratch, but... this stuff's not so bad. Scratch is better because you can flavor it with vanilla or cinnamon or whatever you want, but for a quick fix... Open your mouth and tip your head back."

She popped the top off, finger on the nozzle as she beckoned him closer.

He definitely won't judge her once he realizes what a creamy goodness this thing is.

For now, he did as asked, a bit confused but not getting into it as she listed all the flavours that could be added to it. Stepping closer, he looked from the can to her, then tipped his head back and opened his mouth, figuring that she was going to pour some of that whipped cream inside.

Upending it, she tipped the nozzle over his mouth and pressed. There was the whoosh of aerosol being released, then a coil of white filled his mouth. "There you go."

She followed suit, filling her own mouth with fluffy white and then putting the cap back on with a hum. Mm. Tasty.

He was a bit surprised at the texture, but not overly much. The true novelty was the taste, and he hummed loudly as he closed his lips around it, a small chunk of the cream spilling out and sticking to the corner of his mouth.

"Ih's 'elichious!" Alright, talking through a mouthful of whipped cream? Not a good idea. He stopped for a moment so he could swallow it all, then added. "It must taste even better with that liquid chocolate."

She chuckled as she swallowed hers, the look o his face and his attempt to talk just too much. Coming over, she licked that little bit that was at the corner of his mouth, nipping at his lip. "It does," she promised. "It tastes pretty good on everything. Pie, ice cream, cake. Hot cocoa. We'll work our way down the tasting chart and make sure you get to try it all."

He closed his eyes as she leaned down to wipe the small smudge from the corner of his lips, smiling up at her as she pulled away again, and letting out a soft pleased hum at the list of foods she went through. "Delicious and terrible, is what all that sounds to me. You'll soon make a fat dwarf out of me, if you keep that up." Not that he'd mind, really. Then again, they were a little too active for either of them to put on any weight, and he had a feeling that wouldn't change anytime soon.

"Fat? Never. I have far too many ways to burn that off with you for you to gain a pound." If they kept at it at the rate they were going, he was likely to lose weight. Fili, the most-toned dwarf known to all mankind. Kili could tease him about it.

She was tempted to steal another kiss, let herself get distracted by those tasty lips, but food... With a regretful sigh, she drew back and leaned against the counter, waiting to take the chicken out and put in the last batch. "So, have you heard of anything you haven't tried yet but want to?"

If Kíli even so much as tried, then he in turn would be teased for that little chub he'd been putting on, which was something he wasn't all that fond of. Fíli himself rather liked being fit for one, it wasn't all too unusual amongst his kin and, truthfully, it gave him a lot more energy to move and run and to all the more things that he wouldn't be able to keep up with, were he fat.

And they did have plenty of ways to keep fit indeed - not just between the sheets, so to say, but out in the woods, with walks, hunts and camping trips. Whatever amount of food she fed him, it surely wouldn't make him too much fatter.

He thought a bit about her question, some things coming to mind, but one most of all standing out. "Peanut butter," he said at last. "I wonder, how does one even make butter out of peanuts? Or any other sort of nut, really."

Out of all the things he could have said, that one surprised her the most. She laughed, moving over to deal with taking one batch out and putting another in, flipping the chicken in the oven as well. "Really? Peanut butter? Of all things? Well, I guess it's better to call it spread than butter, but if it's made right, it has the same texture as butter. Ever mashed anything? We'll get some nuts sometime and make it, but it's pretty much just crushing up a bunch of nuts and maybe adding a little salt or sugar to taste. Peanuts are pretty oily, so they provide a lot of their own moisture."

After she dealt with the chicken, she went over to another cupboard. Guess who had some smooth peanut butter on hand? "Smooth stuff, like this? It's when they grind it all down so much that it's just a paste. Then there's crunchy, where they leave some of the nuts in pieces. Wanna try some?"

Surely there were other things that he could have picked, but in this instance, it was actually two new things mixed into one: peanuts, which he'd never heard of nor tried, and this kind of butter or spread that was made out of it. So at her incredulousness, he simply shrugged, tipping his head curiously. "Why? Is peanut butter not odd or mysterious enough? It is something very new to me. Both the butter, and the nut."

But of course, he delighted in the prospect of trying it right now, chunky or smooth, so when she pulled out the jar of peanut butter she had, then asked if he wanted to try some, he brightened up immediately. "Yes, I would very much so. Do you eat it just like this? Or do you use it as butter, to put it on other things?"

"Huh. I guess I'm spoiled. Peanut butter's sort of one of the most basic things where I come from. Even just the nut. If you like this, I've got something you'll love." It was a reminder that no, he did not come from anywhere near her world if he'd no idea what a peanut was.

Unscrewing the lid, she scooped a little onto her finger, then waggled it at him. "It's usually had on bread, in a sandwich, but people make cookies with it, or use it with fruit or... I don't know. Whatever they want that it goes with."

Promptly he stepped closer, taking that little waggle as an invitation, and opening his mouth to wrap his lips around her finger. Sucking a little, he licked it clean, humming pleasantly at the intense taste that so easily spread through his mouth, letting out a little sigh as he released her finger, eyes closed for a moment.

"It's terrible. I don't know how everyone in your world isn't horribly fat. I'm sure that with all these, most of us dwarves wouldn't even be able to stand up." And yet-- he looked up at her curiously. "What else have you got that I'll love?"

Grinning impishly at him, this little game of 'new things to give to the dwarf' had caught her interest. Watching his reactions to foods she took for granted was incredibly addictive, mostly because he had the cutest little surprised look he pulled when tasting something new. Licking her finger clean, she moved over to a drawer, humming as she dug in it and pulled out a package of something orange.

Opening it, she came over with what she had behind her back, giving him the cheekiest of all looks. "Open your mouth and close your eyes and I'll give you a big surprise," she said in a singsong.

Again, he had no idea of what that was. Still, he trusted her, and so he did just as she asked again, closing his eyes and parting his lips, tongue sticking out a little as he waited for whatever it was she wanted to feed to him.

Hopefully it wouldn't taste of apple.

Breaking it in half, she took one of the Reese Peanut Butter Cups and broke it in half before setting it in his open mouth. "Tell me what you think of that." Chocolate, which he loved, and peanut butter, which he seemed to like... What could go wrong?

What he thought of that? Well, he certainly thought a great many things, though at first he couldn't tell what this was exactly. The taste of peanut butter was strong at first, the rest leaving him wondering for a bit before he could pinpoint the other dominant flavour: chocolate.

"By the Maker's beard," he moaned through a mouthful of the sweet, letting it swirl and break apart in his mouth, taking his time before he swallowed it. "What is that? Who can even think of such things?"

She held up the package for him to look at, popping the other half in her mouth. There were still two more cups in it and she pulled one out for him. "Say hello to one of the best inventions in the world. Peanut Butter cups. The best of both worlds."

Oh, that reaction had definitely been worth it, and she went to set the candy on the counter so he could read the package as he liked or just gobble it all up. She had more. The chicken needed tending to, though, so after flipping over the last two pieces, she pulled the ones in the oven out and set them to cool enough for her to start the salad. The rolls went in next to heat as she turned the temperature down, then looked over at him as she started to get all their things together for a meal. "I take it you like it?"

"Peanut butter cups," he parroted the name, as if testing it and getting used to it, while he picked up another of the candies and popped it in his mouth. He really should be saving sweets for later, but there was more than enough room in his stomach for these and the chicken, so it would do no harm to eat a few more of these, as she finished taking care of the food that was cooking. "Yes, very much so. I wouldn't have thought about the mixture of chocolate and peanut butter, but it does work very well."

"Ah, Fili, my adorable little candy muncher, you're going to find out very quickly that chocolate goes with almost everything." Fried chicken draining over the paper towels, she got to work tearing up the baked chicken, adding it to the bowl with all the rest of the salad fixings -- including halved grapes because yes, she was the devil. Besides, if he didn't like the sweet, they were easy enough to pick out.

She watched him all but inhale the cups, making a note to get a lot more of them. She liked them as well and between the two of them... well. Things might get messy. "Chocolate's good for sweets, like that, but people use it for cooking as well. There's different kinds of chocolate, like bittersweet, dark, unsweetened, white... they all taste different. There's icing and syrup and chips and flakes and powder and bars... More types than you could probably even think of. People really, really like their chocolate where I come from. I guess that carries over to here."

"Oh no, stop," he said that with a grin, all the chocolate treats she listed out making his stomach grumble softly at the thought. Even if a good part of it, he did not recognize by name alone. For now, though, he kept helping himself to those peanut butter cups, as he stole a glance at the rest of the food she was preparing for them. "You'll have to stop talking about food and giving me food, if we are to ever do anything else other than eat."

He didn't make too weird a face to the grapes, though unusual it was to see it mixed with salad and chicken - if anything he was curious to see how it worked. People roasted meat with some fruits at times, after all, so why not this? "Can I help with anything now?"

"Mm, get the rolls out of the oven? Mitts, please. I'd like not to have to take you to a hospital for burns." She gestured back to the oven, pulling the butter over and starting to get plates for them. Three pieces fried chicken breast each, and enough chicken salad for a few roll sandwiches each. Should be enough for now.

And if not, there was always takeout. "Bed with this or do you think we can manage to eat at the table?" Which, of course, made her think of breakfast in bed... oh, that would be happening.

He could handle a little heat, actually, being used to working with the fire of the forge, but still, prolonged contact could leave a lasting mark. So he did as told, putting on the mitts she wore moments ago, and using them to get the rolls out of the oven, still a little unsure how these were supposed to be eaten - but he'd follow her lead on that.

"Hmm, bed sounds nice. More comfortable. Although we might make a bit of a mess." Setting the tray on top of the counter, he looked over at her. "Where should I put these?"
