Dwarven curiosity was very much a thing, so after a moment of letting her cook, he finally stepped closer, still making sure he kept out of her way. His eyebrows knit together at the thick layer of oil in the pan, then he visibly startled when it sizzled at the addition of the chicken. It seemed quite hot, and vaguely Fíli thought that it wouldn't be too pleasant if even a small drop of that landed on bare skin.

He kept silent as she went on to take care of the salad, though, clearly curious about the entire process she went through there, at the question then looking at her. "Well... Mostly we do meat dishes. But we do have mashed potatoes in goat milk, for instance. We also have a dish made with goat guts. And desserts, of course, layered cakes and biscuits...
