Dwarves were no strangers to such casual connections, especially when often times their dams did not seek to marry, and Fíli himself had had his fair share of rolls in the hay. But nothing like this, no; he could tell the difference, could taste it in each kiss they shared, in the smallest of touches just the same. And for now, he was content not giving it too much thought, simply enjoying the moments they had with one another thoroughly, much like he was doing right now.
