And he would follow after her happily, discarding the towel and not really thinking about putting on clothes as he padded over to the kitchen, and watched as she moved around with ease. She wouldn't need to do much to impress him, mind. He knew how to operate most of the appliances in a kitchen now, but still she was far more skilled and accustomed to it all than he was, and he could tell. As for whatever meaning there was to it, he did not think much of it, and were he to know, he would promptly tell her that she did not have to. She did not have to show him that she could take care of him, or provide for him; she did not need to do anything as if to prove herself, to show him that he had made a good choice - he knew he had.

Although he would also argue that in the matters of the heart, there was no such thing as a choice to begin with.

"Just some water right now, thank you," he smiled, leaning against the edge of a chair. "Do you need help?"
